More Money for First-time Homebuyers in Carroll County
For a limited time only, first-time homebuyers in Carroll County have access to a pool of funds available to purchase a home. The program is being funded as part of the State of Maryland?s More House 4 Less program and low to moderate income first time home-buyers can take advantage of this program by purchasing a home between September 1 and October 31, 2009. Qualifications for the program include purchasing a home for no more than $429,620, and falling within Federal income limits of a maximum income of $98, 520 for households with one or two members and $114,940 for households with three or more members. The main advantage of the program is to provide lower interest rates on the loan with a larger amount of money being financed than normal.
